Role in PHOOTONICS: IMEC as an active company in the fields of nanoelectronics and digital technologies, provides an optimized version of HSI NIR photodetector fabricated in silicon, for diabetic foot ulcer monitoring. As leader in WP4, IMEC supports the hardware components integration in cooperation with ALPES. Furthermore, IMEC is involved in technical specifications construction in the area of DFU management and also, it carries out dissemination and exploitation activities in order to spread the knowledge gained regarding the related technologies.
